Launch Sprint
A concentrated 1–2 week period of coordinated launch activity across all distribution channels.
A launch sprint is a concentrated, pre-planned period of coordinated launch activity — typically 7–14 days — where a founder executes all distribution activities in sequence to maximize product visibility.
The sprint typically includes: a Product Hunt launch on a specific day, a coordinated social media push (X, LinkedIn, TikTok, Reels), community posts, email to any existing list, and direct outreach to targeted potential users.
The value of a sprint over a slow rollout is momentum. Early distribution signals (upvotes, signups, engagement) beget more distribution. A product that hits 200 Product Hunt upvotes in the first hour gets promoted to more people by the algorithm. A launch that trickles does not generate the same amplification.
The sprint mindset: for 7–14 days, launch activities are the top priority. Content is prepared in advance. The founder is available to engage with every response throughout the sprint period.
